This Double layer High Absorbency fabric is super soft and made of super thin fibers. It is used in cleaning delicate surfaces such as space telescopes. The fabric is woven to be non-shedding. Its high absorbency capacity makes it ideal for the surface cleaning of delicates optics. The fabric has also a patented folding design that creates a softer edge compared to a hot sealing process. Compatible with VDust Formula™ cleaning fluid. The patented mini-channel, with contour, provides an even saturation of the paddles surface while preventing pooling and vertical flow at the edge. This reduces streaks associated with traditional flat surface paddles. The mini-channels also provide the extra reservoir to absorb the excessive liquid and prolonging the moisture life of the swab during the cleaning process. For use with the 1.0x full frame sensors (24mm). 12 per pack.

	VDust Formula™, with its multi ingredients formula, cleans the sensor from all kinds of contamination preventing sensor surface friction and static build up, resulting in crystal clear images. Its anti-friction ability provides a safer and smoother cleaning process reducing potential risk to the sensor. Most alcoholic formulas such as Methanol are designed to remove oil from optical surfaces. However, they are unable to remove or dissolve protein contamination. At the same time they contribute to surface friction and static build up. It is known that during the cleaning process water molecules act as lubricant on the sensor reducing the friction and static built up. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use VDust Formula™ for its cleaning power and sensor protection.

I'll cut right to the chase.

The Arctic Butterfly is the best product that I've yet seen for cleaning your digital camera's sensor while traveling.

Last October, when the product was first released, I had high praise for it, which you can read in my original review. I have just received a review sample of the latest version, called Arctic Butterfly™ 724, and it's a world apart from the first version. Functionality is similar. Both will clean your sensor. But the new version is so much better made and packaged and protected from damage when traveling, that it might as well be regarded as a totally new product.

Visible Dust, its maker, offers many products for cleaning sensors, but the new Arctic Butterfly™ 724 not only works very effectively but it also is now extremely well made and packaged.
